Christmas On The Beach

The other day I decided to take a walk downtown.  Christmas has sprung in Alicante, complete with Bellenes (nativity scenes) and Christmas lights strung all along the street.  It is absolutely magnificent!

The weather has been pretty cold (though not as cold as San Jose, I hear) but it was warmer, so I grabbed a sweater and took a walk down to the beach.  Here's what I saw:










How many times am I going to say I watched the sunset over the Mediterranean sea?  I leave in exactly seven days.  Whoa.
