about me.

i'm kandace.

i'm a twentytwo year old university graduate caught in the in-between.

i like to write, especially to blog, and i like to adventure, so this essentially seems to be the perfect link between them.  i began this blog with the intention of documenting my journey abroad in spain, and somehow it became much more than that.  california seemed so far away.

now i am serving at a formerly-homeless housing program in seattle, volunteering a year of my life through the jesuit volunteer corps.  i live with eight people in mercy house, where we attempt to create a small space of peace in this busy, noisy, inspiring city.

i am constantly learning, changing, growing, adapting and always, always surprised at the beauty of this difficult, wondrous world.
