I keep thinking this will update itself! I'll get to it, I promise.......... You'll get a fat rest-of-Paris-recap soon.
In the meanwhile, school has become actual school (I know, what?). While still being significantly less work than SCU, trying to write papers and prepare oral presentations while in Spain is difficult. My brain just isn't quite there, you know? It also probably doesn't help that it was my friend's birthday last night, so we went out and stayed out until 4am...and I have class at 8. But, no te preocupes, I did all my homework before I went out. So at least I'm a responsible slacker.
I've also been fighting waves of incredible homesickness. I think it has to do with the lack of "autumn" seasons here -- I miss watching the leaves turn and getting ready for Halloween. But, no worries, yesterday afternoon it was really stormy outside, so I curled up with my teddy bear and a movie and felt right as rain.
Also, I'm embarking on a new adventure: I joined the Universidad de Alicante choir! My friend told me about it yesterday and I e-mailed the guy today and we auditioned tonight...and we got in! UA's newest alto, right here! So there's three Americans in the choir, now. Except, both of the other students speak fluent Spanish and as for me, well, we all know how that goes. It was mentally exhausting to go a rehearsal completely in Spanish. So fun, though. We're even going to have a Christmas show! I'm excited to meet lots of Spanish students, as well. I think it will be a cool experience and it seems like it will be pretty laid-back, which is exactly what I wanted!
Anyways, I'm completely exhausted so I'm going to hit the hay. Love you all, miss you bunches. Auntie Kathy -- I wear those headbands you sent me all the time! Love themmmm (and you!).
Besos y besos.

Oh sweetie, I am sure that a times it is difficult when a wave of homesickness surges, but try to remember that we are all embracing you thru your wonderful blog and experiencing your adventures right along with you (or so it feels like it because you are so exceptionaly discriptive and creative in your writing)! We are only a plane trip away(Im sure with a few stops) and your mama is also as close as your skype! Your fotos are absolutely beautiful. I am sure the subject matter has alot to contribute to it, meaning you and Lauren with a wonderful backdrop of course! You must have a great camera. Lauren seems like a very sweet and fun girl to travel with. Keep it all comming and know that I check your blog at least once a day and usually twice! I love you too (as Jon and Karen would put it MUAH)!
